Although the 0.15.0 version of Minecraft Pocket Edition is only in beta testing, community creations for the new features of it is flying out faster than Air Force One. Here is another one. This one is focusing on Piston. If you have played Minecraft on the PC then you probably are no strangers to Pistons. But for those who do not know, Piston is a part of the Redstone system which can be used to push blocks that are push-able. This map features 10 different Piston Creations.

Obviously there are a total of 10 Piston Creations in this map, but I’m not going to show all 10 of them because that would be cheating. What fun would a game be if you don’t get to discover it all by yourself. So here, I will be showing you 4 of them.

The Piston Trap

This trap is triggered by pressure plates. When someone steps on these plates, the blocks in front will drop, causing the player or the mob the drop down the hole. This mechanism can be altered by using arrows or explosives instead of disappearing blocks.

The Hidden Stairs

These are stair steps that will pump out at the use of a lever. You should use the lever to walk up safely, or use the pressure plates to challenge your parkour skills.

The Automatic Door

This is quite common among Minecraft players. Doors that open automatically with a push of a button or by stepping pressure plates.

The Fence Door

This is almost a mixture between the Piston Trap and the Automatic Door, but is a bit more difficult to build. However, it will go perfectly with one of those medieval types of builds.

There are six other Piston Creations in the map for you to discover for yourself.
